Letter to Chair of ACPO regarding traffic law enforcement devices - 2 February 2009
The purpose of this letter is to clarify the position with regard to the type approval of traffic law enforcement devices and the consequent admissibility in court of evidence from such devices. It was written on 2 February 2009 by the Home Office head of road crime section, and was sent to the chair of the ACPO road policing enforcement technology committee.
